The Stained Glass Studio was established in Ipswich, Suffolk by Danielle Hopkinson in 1993. A graduate of the renowned Architectural Stained Glass College at Swansea, she started the company with the backing of the Prince's Trust.

The studio produces architectural stained glass with work ranging from large scale fixed pieces to interior screens, free standing and hanging panels.

Now with partner Ian Davies, the studio offers a full service from initial consultation and design, through to manufacturing and installation.

Each piece of work commissioned is uniquely designed to meet our clients own specifications. We use the finest hand made glass and incorporate a range of techniques including kiln fired painting and enamelling, fusing, casting, acid etching and sandblasting.

We accept commissions from public, commercial, ecclesiastical and domestic clients.
The studio also undertakes restoration with extensive experience of listed building requirements both ecclesiastical and domestic.
